软陶器是从江户时代中期末期开始生产的。在不含铁的白色滤土上完全涂上透明釉。因其质地光滑、釉面呈淡黄色而被称为玉石。

From the late Edo period, soft porcelain was produced. Made entirely from iron-free white refined clay with a transparent glaze, the smooth texture and light yellow glaze surface gave rise to the name "Tamago-te" (egg hand).
